The following video is from the August 2015 NorthWest Western Swing Music Society Western Swing Festival that was held at the Auburn Eagles in Auburn, WA.On Sunday morning, before the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Chuck hosted a Steel Guitar Grand Jam, mixing musical examples with the history of the steel guitar. Here is Part 1 of that performance.Chuck was the past President of the Western Swing Music Society of the Southwest (WSMSS). He played with Bob Wills in his early years, and developed into a great steel guitar player, vocalist and bandleader.Chuck was truly an Ambassador for the music he loved, tying the three Western Swing societies together: the Southwest, the Northwest and California.
